Terms of service
These terms govern your use of jackandsusy.com and any order you place through it. By using the site or buying from it you accept them. Please read the section on measurements and airlines with particular care, because it is the part that matters most in this shop.
Who you are buying from
Jack & Susy. Contact: support@jackandsusy.com. We are an independent retailer. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any airline or any manufacturer whose products we sell.
Measurements and airline policies
Every measurement shown on this site is taken from the manufacturer's own published specification, and every airline dimension is taken from that airline's own published policy on the date stated on the page.
No pet carrier is “airline approved”. No such certification exists. Airlines publish a maximum size; a gate agent decides on the day whether your bag fits and whether your pet may travel. Airline policies change without notice, and a carrier that fits the published figures may still be refused.
You are responsible for confirming your airline's current policy before you book and before you travel. We give you the numbers and our honest reading of them; we cannot guarantee that any airline will accept any particular carrier, and we are not liable for a refusal at the gate, a missed flight or any cost arising from one.
Orders
An order is an offer to buy. It is accepted when we send you a despatch confirmation, not when you place it. Until then we may decline or cancel an order, for example if an item is out of stock, if the price was listed incorrectly, or if we cannot ship to your address. If we cancel an order you have paid for, we refund it in full.
Prices and errors
Prices are in US dollars and include no hidden charges. Any applicable sales tax is shown at checkout before you pay. We try hard to keep the site accurate, but if a price or a specification is obviously wrong we will tell you before we ship and give you the choice of proceeding at the correct price or cancelling.
Shipping and returns

Using the site
The text, photographs, comparison tables and airline guide on this site are ours or are used with permission. You may not copy or republish them commercially without our written consent. You may of course share links, quote us with attribution, and print anything you like for your own use.
Suitability of products
Products sold here are travel equipment for cats and dogs. They are not medical devices and they are not restraints for use in a crash. Follow the manufacturer's instructions, check the fit on your own animal, and never leave a pet unattended in a closed carrier in a hot vehicle.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, our liability in connection with any order is limited to the amount you paid for it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Principality of Andorra. Nothing here removes any statutory right you have as a consumer in the country where you live.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published on this page at the time you place your order.
