Road trips

The other half of travelling with a pet: the car. Booster seats that put a small dog at window height, tethers that keep them on their own seat, covers that take the wet-dog-and-sand part of the trip so your upholstery does not, and backpacks for when the walk turns into a hike.

One rule runs through all of it: a tether clips to a harness, never to a collar. In a sudden stop, a collar puts the whole force of that stop on your dog's neck.
